AIRPORT PLANNING MANUAL 1. SCOPE 1.1. PURPOSE This document provides airplane characteristics for general airport planning. Since the operational practices vary among the airlines, specific data should be coordinated with the using airlines before the facility design is made. EMBRAERshould be contacted for any additional information required. 1.2. INTRODUCTION TheAPMhasbeenprepared in accordance with NAS 3601. It provides aircraft characteristics for general airport planning, airport operators, airlines, and engineer- ing consultant organizations.
